What a day in the republic!





First of all - it was Jack Abramoff's birthday! Happy Birthday, Jack-o. Thanks for helping to bring the Bush putsch down.







And in today's Supreme Court docket: A ruling on disgraced bugman Tom Delay's re-districting of Texas, designed to give the GOP a clear majority, and .... (are you ready?)



Anne Nicole Smith's inheritance.






Just another surreal 24 hours in the empire's lurch towards dissolution.
